THE EVERYDAY INTERNET

This book borrows excerpts of text from French philosopher Maurice Blanchot's speech, "The Everyday," first published in 1962. My insertions and alterations to Blanchot's original words are marked in blue and red. By replacing "the everyday" with "the internet," the text is reconstructed to highlight the prescience of Blanchot's speech, while simultaneously transforming it into a direct reflection on contemporary life.
